Najee Janey
So it’s coming up on year 2 that have been in Boston MA, and it’s not unknown that there are some very talented individuals out here. Today I introduce to you the artist, singer, rapper known as Najee Janey. I’ve been following his musical journey since I arrived in the town, being connected to some creatives I already knew about it was hard not to notice the genius behind the music of Najee Janey.
Hailing from Roxbury MA, Najee Janey is a 2x Boston Music Awards Nominee, who’s music transcends beyond the New England area. Growing up with a father who was deeply embedded into music, Najee Janey was passed the torch and I can say so far he is carrying it well. Not only is he talented as an artist but he also has writing credits under his belt for Atlanta Records R&B artist “Sebastian Mikael”.
Back in 2019 Najee Janey went on a special run with the release of a hand full of singles and a album. The album is titled “The Purple Earth Theory” that demonstrates the diversity in his craft, between the lyrical punchlines and the smooth R&B vibes. I think this project set the tone for a successful career. One of those handful of singles dropped that year is titled “Whats Crackin” which was a big success for his musical journey and one of my personal favorites from him. Moving forward to more recent releases from Najee Janey, in 2021 he released a project titled “Blue Manifesto Deluxe” that starts off with a strong message on the record titled “Cruisin” Ft. Sean Wire. Najee Janey has a pretty extensive catalog that will feed any listeners hunger for real Hiphop and R&B.
In 2025 Najee Janey has continued the consistency with quality vibes for his fans and music lovers, including his latest single titled “TooReactive”. Currently he is on tour so if you are around be sure to check in at one or a couple of his shows. A couple of notables from his catalog are “SOL” and “Time Tables”. He is only scratched the surface of what’s to come for him musically and i’m here to watch how it unfolds.
