Austin Fair
Austin Fair, a talented artist from Massachusetts can hold is own up against the best of them in the music scene in The Town, listening to some of his earlier records to his most recent work you can see the progression in his music. Austin Fair says that’s because of a his college roommate who told him he was dope in every aspect but he should talk about the hardships, the struggle, things of that nature that he has been through and he did just that and hasn't looked back. One of my favorite records from Austin Fair is called “Become King” which is off the project called “Alumni” released in 2019. Fair speaks about following you’re dreams you only have one shot to do it, and these things sre bigger than him. “She’d light to the knowledge that u need to succeed, and leave it up to you’re true destiny BECOME KING” with everything a young black man is faced with coming from these types of environments its refreshing to see a artist be in tune with the fact that things need to change and the way to make change is through “knowledge” the whole record is a masterpiece and the gems dropped by Fair puts the cherry on top. Some of Austin Fairs beat work in my opinion came on the project called “Pioneer” that also came along with a deluxe version. “Honor Roll” & “Wins” stand out the most to me on this one, and not to mention he had no features on the entire thing.
Words to the wise just keep it going, don’t think about it, you gotta know it, be smart about it, don't second guess it, live for the moment is what Austin Fair said on his record “Words to the wise” off oh his project titled “Don’t forget to smile” to me this spoke volumes because sometimes when we are going after something we really want we can second guess it, we can get discouraged, and we can feel like giving up but in order to be successful in whatever it is u want to pursue you have to know it will happen, you have to just do it or else it won’t ever get done.
