RO$$AY
Foolish - RO$$AY
The Creators Room welcomes RO$$AY, an independent artist from Little Rock Arkansas, who now is known as the Sol child of Denver rap. Having artist that inspired him like Drake, KDot, J. Cole, Kid Cudi, & famously known group Outkast has helped him hone his craft to become who he is today. Since moving to Denver Co, RO$$AY has made a serious name for himself in that music scene. Coming across RO$$AY I heard his record called “Foolish” ft. DNA Picasso, where he expresses how he moves with pure intentions but doesn’t always get that in return. Foolish of me to think otherwise. This record is crafted beautifully from the production to the lyrical content produced from both artist on the record. This is one I wish I could have been in the studio session to witness firsthand.
Recently SOL CHILD released a single called “Midas (Au79)” this record shows RO$$AY and his ability to flex a little bit with knowing how he gets down in the studio with the pen, he said his pen got the Midas for real! The sample used on this record really brought the vision to life, as RO$$AY tells the people all about his life and how he has the glow. I’m intrigued. there is always a point in time while searching for new talent, where everything just clicks. thats exactly what happened when i listened to his music.
Diving a little deeper into the music of SOL CHILD, we come across “Inner Child’ where RO$$AY says, “F the A list I already made it, I want the net worth, but not without the self-worth” It’s kind of crazy because you see so many people willing to do whatever for that net worth and not thinking twice about their self-worth. I respect the fact he is aware of his worth and wont altar that mindset for anything. This is probably my favorite song from SOL CHILD outside of “Foolish”. Back in 2023 RO$$AY dropped two amazing bodies of work “RO$$AY ON SXNDAY” & “Messenger Who Shot Back”. Messenger who shot back has some heat on it RO$$AY really stepped onto his bag with that one. I’ll be keeping a eye on you, great things are on the horizon
