Najii Persons
Najii Persons is an artist from St Louis, Missouri where he grew up in the church. Where Najii became infatuated with gospel music and started writing poetry, as Najii Persons was old enough to attend college he left his home town for Chicago, where he really honed in on his skills and evolved into who he is today. Now he is dedicated to putting his city on the map musically.
With influences from the church, to artist such as Kanye west, Najii Persons brings a unique style and vibe to his music he is an artist whom I can guarantee will put his city on as long as he continues to perfect his craft the way he is doing. With no aspirations to become a rapper Najii Persons has turned into a well rounded artist in his lane.
The first record I heard from Najii Persons is called “Respectfully” Ft. Keith Jones which released back in 2023 a beautifully crafted record, where Najii Persons speaks about just being out of reach when it comes to a love interest, that just seems to keep slipping away. Recently Najii Persons released a new single on March 14th titled “Sex Appeal” which is a smooth R&B vibe, 1 of the 2 singles he has dropped this year. While remaining consistent with his artistry, Najii Persons has dropped singles but hasn’t released a full length project since 2019 with “#@%! Is Forever” and his previous project a year prior to that with “Lost Souncloud Files”. Although i’m sure his audience appreciates the music he gives, I know they are eager to receive a new full project from Najii in the near future.
