Pray 4 Pretty People
Maybe about a month ago I came across the genuis of Saint Meauxzes, a talented artist with roots based in the south, who has created a lane of soul and transparency in music. Connecting sounds and styles from across the country Saint Meauxzes is undeniablely on the rise. Back in August of 2023 Saint Meauxzes released the single titled “Pray 4 Pretty People” an amazing piece of art not only lyrical and with meaning but also with an old school production feel. When I hear “I only pray for pretty people, you prey on me? Prayers lost” I don’t take that literally, I see it in a sense of Saint Meauxzes is praying 4 and wishing love upon those who have good intentions, you prey on me prayers lost is self-explanatory. This record speaks on the trials and tribulations endured while keeping the vision intact and persevering throughout it all we are healed!
Recently in March Saint Meauxzes released a new single titled “Angel in a Spark (of a diamond )”. They say pressure makes diamonds, in order to get something u have to go through something. This one is a record you play with the windows down and the top back, listen to the record below. In 2021 Meauxzes released a debut project titled “The Radiant Genuis” and checking out the catalog you can see the progression in the music and artistry as a whole. It’s amazing to see the different eras throughout an artist journey. I think the people need a visual for “Pray 4 Pretty People” I’m looking forward to seeing more from Saint Meauxzes in the near future.
