Who Cares. By Jurdan Byrant
Jurdan Bryant is a phenomenal artist from Baltimore MD who also reps Atlanta GA where he was apart of the collective of Spillage Village. I’ve been a listener since the early days all the way back to the “Triumph” project with Hollywood JB and “Bears Like This” the list goes on and on. What a crazy talented individual when it comes to putting the bars on wax, making not only music of substance but speaking about issues that many can relate too.
This project titled “Who Cares” is a master piece that was released in September of 2024, with some features from his collective mates in Earth Gang on “FTDAG” and another from Uno Hype on “Lately”. The project starts off with that unique chill vibe fans of JB have become accustomed to love from him with the “Intro” - “Still waiting on the ring on the phone, wondering if somethings wrong, wonder if you care at all?”
A true innovator in music Jurdan Bryant is making timeless music “UKNOWDAT” is a perfect example of that, where Bryant raps about the love he has for a particular woman through the ups and downs she knows that he won’t stop loving her. Easily one of the most profound artist to come from the Spillage Village collective, Jurdan Bryant seems to always give his fans music that reassures why they became fans of his music in the first place. I've spent a little time in Baltimore this past week, trying to take in the culture and vibe of the city. I look forward to coming back and connecting with creatives that have a message to the world from B-more.
“Who Cares” to me really embodies the saying nobody really cares what you’re going through or have been through until you become successful. So becoming successful is the only option.
